It&#8217;s possible to have variable overheads \u2013 an example of this would be bookkeepers&#8217; fees, which are likely to grow as your business grows.<\/p>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"what-are-examples-of-fixed-costs\"><\/span>What Are Examples of Fixed Costs?<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>Common examples of fixes costs are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lease or rent payments &#8211; as long as you don\u2019t move or expand, these stay the same.<\/li>\n<li>Utilities &#8211; there may be slight seasonal changes, but by and large, these remain fixed.<\/li>\n<li>Insurance<\/li>\n<li>Certain staff salaries<\/li>\n<li>Property taxes<\/li>\n<li>Interest expenses\/loans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how-to-calculate-fixed-costs\"><\/span>How to Calculate Fixed Costs<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p>The formula for calculating fixed costs is incredibly simple.<\/p>\n<p>First, you need to find your total fixed costs.
